World Literacy Day was marked by distributing 2 sets of school uniforms,2 pairs of socks, a pair of shoes,biscuits and chocolates to 80 students of Shree Jyoti Adharbhoot Vidyalaya of our adopted village,Kharji.
Mr.Tunk Prasad Gautam, Education & Coordination Committee Head,Morang was the Chief Guest. He explained the importance of education in today’s world to the community people & the students. He also emphasized on the importance of coming to school regularly. Distribution of uniforms will not only enhance the moral of the students but also encourage them to come to school daily,thus increasing the attendance.
It will also motivate the drop-out children to come BACK TO SCHOOL.
School Principal, teachers, representatives from NIC Asia Bank, media persons, Rotaractors, RCC members, local leaders, children of our members also attended the program besides club members.
