Rotary Club Of Biratnagar Downtown supported “The Gream Project( Non – Rotary group of young environment enthusiasts)”in conducting the Climate Summit 22,along with UWC Thailand,& Nepal Telecom.The summit was first of its type in Biratnagar. It was organized to aware and educate 150 students of different schools about the impact of climate change on different aspects of our lives and importance of understanding the environment’s vulnerability and protecting it. Past President, Rtn.Santosh Jain was the coordinator from our club. She educated the gathering about Rotary and highlighted our club’s project.The Chief Guest of the program was Biratnagar Municipality Mayor, Mr. Nagesh Koirala and the speakers were Mr.Prayash Adhikari, Mr. Abhishek Shrestha and Mrs. Tanuja Pandey. The students were also made to participate in a fun filled group activity to apply their knowledge & vision to protect the environment. We presented Rotary’s 4-way test to all the speakers as token of love.
