Area of focus: Disease prevention and treatment

To keep Nepal Polio free,an awareness program was organised at the adopted village,Kharji. Club’s Charter President,Rtn.Dr.Mamta Verma addressed the gathering and informed them about Rotary’s efforts to end polio globally.
To make the program effective and impactful,the RCC members performed a small play.
Dr.Mamta Verma not only directed the play,but also wrote the script in local language to make it understandable to the villagers. She also emphasized on the importance of polio drops.
Play cards and sashes were used to make the program effective. Participants included club members,Rotaracts,RCC members,school students and media person.
More than 150 people were benefitted by this program.
