With the aim of women empowerment Rotary club of Biratnagar Downtown had started “Mushroom Farming training project “in the form of vocational training at Janta Secondary School, Jahada-2 on 19th October ,2021. Local villagers and young volunteers of RCC Madhu Mandal had helped us to organize the program. Kundan Prasad Mandal was the trainer for the project. The training was completed in 20 days. Mushrooms in the first phase were harvested in 45 days in excellent quantity & quality. Women are very happy with good production & now they have opted this as their profession to earn a livelihood.

30 women as well as their family members have been benefited from this project.
