• Area of Focus: Water, Sanitation and Hygiene.

• We organized an awareness program on Hygiene (WASH)
in Shree Bakhri Adharbhut Vidyalaya, ward no-12,Bakhri village. The resource person was Ruchi Shrestha, Community Medicine Assistant (CMA) from Bakhri Healthpost. She spoke about good hygiene practices and also taught correct way of washing hands with soap and water. We also distributed hygiene kits to children in nursery classes to 5. The hygiene kit consisted of toothpaste, a toothbrush, a comb,shampoo, hair oil, a nail cutter, a small towel, and soap.

• Total cost of the project – 15,400/-NPR

• The beneficiaries included 120 children from the nursery to fifth grade level.

• Such programs improve health, reduce disease, boost attendance, empower students, enhance community hygiene practices and foster long term habits creating healthier individuals and communities through education and infrastructure improvements.
