• We started organic farming in Jehda Gaopalika and ran an awareness campaign to inform farmers about its benefits, practices, and necessity. We distributed 55 kg of potatoes and 300 tomato, cabbage, and green chilly seedlings to farmers. Along with giving them some organic insecticides and plant vitamins, we also demonstrated how to produce organic fertilizers. To educate farmers about organic farming, we invited Mrs. Saroj Rathi, an expert on the subject.
• Total cost – 20,000/-NPR.
• 200 farmers of Jehda village were the beneficiaries.
• Organic farming boosts rural economies, enhances soil health, conserves water, promotes biodiversity, and improves health while preserving traditions.
